Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced German and Netherlands Country Sales Manager to aid our expansion into Europe representing brands such as Contigo, Corkcircle, anello and HelloLulu to name a few.  They should have a minimum of 3 years Key account experience or above within the design, lifestyle and or homewares industry. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to nurture relationships with key account clients across offline, online, omni channel and B2B sectors as well as managing a team of experienced agents across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth across the region in all channels.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients in design, premium, mass market and online retailers.
  • Market Analysis: Utilize your strong understanding of the sectors and key players within them to stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. Utilize this knowledge to drive informed decision-making and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Budget & Reporting : Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, cost control and report tracking and needs to EMEA Sales Director
  • New Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities within all channels to expand our client base and increase revenue streams.
  • Agent Network : An ideal candidate would have a clear understanding or existing network of agents within the homeware, design or lifestyle industries.
  • Recruitment (Future Role): In the future, as the role evolves, recruit and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, motivation, and coaching to achieve sales targets and exceed performance goals.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, management, logistics and customer service, to ensure a coordinated approach to achieving overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as key account or National account manager level or above
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant industries
  • Languages - German (Mother tongue), English (Professional), Dutch (Professional preferred),
  • Exceptional commercial acumen.
  • Degree level qualifications (Not essential)
  • Eligible to work in the European Union
